Howardena Pindell in conversation with Kymberly Pinder

The artist Howardena Pindell, M.F.A. 1967, discusses her work with Kymberly Pinder, Ph.D. 1995 and Stavros Niarchos Foundation Dean of the Yale School of Art, in a virtual conversation available over Zoom. Their conversation is one of a series of events for the “Woman/Artist” conference hosted by Yale’s Department of the History of Art. Offered in conjunction with the Yale University Art Gallery exhibition On the Basis of Art: 150 Years of Women at Yale and in recognition of the 50th anniversary of coeducation at Yale College and the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the first women students to the University.
